Legal

Terms & Conditions

House rules, liability terms, and conditions accepted when registering for the workshop.

These terms reflect the commercial policies of French Musical Theatre NYC and are governed by the laws of New York State.

Behavior & equipment

Each child agrees to respect the group, staff, equipment and premises.

Any damage or breakage may be charged to legal guardians, in accordance with applicable conditions.

Attendance & punctuality

Respecting class and rehearsal times is essential to the smooth running of the workshop.

Physical fitness & responsibility

The legal guardian confirms that the child is fit to take part in the theatre, dance and singing activities offered.

Medical emergencies

In an emergency, if legal guardians cannot be reached, the organizer is authorized to take necessary measures, including calling 911 and hospital transport.

Medical or transport costs remain the responsibility of legal guardians in accordance with applicable rules.

End-of-class pickup

Children under 12 will only be released to a parent, guardian, or authorized pickup person listed on the registration form.

Children age 12 and up may be explicitly authorized to leave alone at the end of class; liability conditions apply accordingly.

Contagious illness

Please do not send a child who is showing contagious symptoms.

Personal belongings

The organizer cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, forgetting or damage of personal belongings.

Attendance, cancellation & refunds

No refunds once the term has started, except in the case of a major medical reason supported by documentation.

No refund or make-up class for sessions missed by the student.

If Mae is unable to teach a scheduled session, a qualified substitute will be arranged or the class will be rescheduled.

Discipline

The organizer reserves the right to exclude a child in the event of dangerous, disrespectful or disruptive behavior.

Force majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond the organizer's control, a session may be canceled or rescheduled.

Payment methods

Term tuition can be paid via Zelle (recommended) or Venmo, with payment links provided on the website and in the registration form. Payment plans (2 or 3 installments) are available after acceptance, arranged directly with Mae — never automatic through the site.

No personal banking details of the organizer are published: only the Zelle and Venmo payment methods mentioned above are currently offered.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York State. If any clause is found invalid, the remaining clauses remain in effect (severability).
